Today I was really surprised by the control of mind I showed and by my 21 students' correct behaviour when we faced the ugly true that only 4 computers worked properly at the time of showing them their class blog!
However we managed to create the necessary e-mail accounts for students who needed them, to show them the design of the blog, to make them authors of it and to explain them how to get to the blog again.
I think I can feel proud of ourselves, doing so much with so little.

ReplyDeleteI think that was a good thing that happened! I imagine you had them work in small groups and maybe they helped each other. That way, you created the collaborative spirit from the onset of the project!

They worked in small groups, those students who didn't have e-mail accounts worked with students who helped them to create one and meanwhile some students managed to see the blog, another student used her cell phone and I told the rest of the students how we will work, while they wrote their e-mail addresses to become authors of the blogs.
The funniest thing was that the internet was right some minutes before the class, but some students didn't manage to get to their hotmail accounts (the most popular) to receive the invitations. For the other classes I'm going to ask for the e-mail addresses in advance.
